After participating in the convocation two popular singers – Beauty (star of Close Up 1 2005 contest) and Putul (star of Close Up 1 2006 contest) – received their degrees.
Beuaty received certificate of honours and Putul got the certificate of master degree at the convocation held at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the city’s Sher-e-Banglanagar on Wednesday. They took the certificates from Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid.
It may be mentioned that Putul completed Master of Music (M.Mus) and Beauty completed Bachelor of Music (B.Mus) from the University Of Alternative Development (UODA) this year. From the same university Putul finished her honours in music in 2012.
While sharing her feelings after receiving the honour Beauty said, “I am really feeling well now, which I can’t express in a word. Today sufferings of my father (Mujibar Rahman), mother (Shahar Banu) and husband (Hasan Ferdous) became successful. I am grateful to them.”
Putul shared her feelings by this way, “From this university I completed my honours. I had confident about the education system of the university. For this reason, I did my masters here. Today I can mention a proud student of this university. Everybody pray for me.”
About Putul’s academic career her parents Shamsul Haque and Mohsina Haque are delighted.
