Jaya Ahsan starrer ‘Beauty Circus’ is all set to hit local theatres on September 23. Winner of National Film Granted by Bangladesh Government (2014-15), the film is produced by Impress Telefilm and presented by Bashundhara Gura Mashla.
Recently, the Minister of Information Hasan Mahmud, MP was handed the poster of the film by its director Mahmud Didar. The poster of the film was unveiled on social media on September 1.
Director Mahmud Didar said, “Before the release, people’s expectations and love for ‘Beauty Circus’ are incredible. Our long fight with the film is coming to an end.” Although the production started in 2017, it took almost five years to finish. Due to the pandemic, the release of the much-awaited film has been delayed. On February 6, 2017, in Sapahar of Naogaon and Manikganj, the filmmaker shot with the participation of about 2000 villagers along with 200 production partners. A huge circus was arranged at a village fair for the shooting.
Jaya Ahsan stars in the titular role of Beauty. The other characters of the film are played by Ferdous Ahmed, Tauquir Ahmed, ABM Sumon, Shatabdi Wadud, Gazi Rakayet, Humayun Sadhu, Manisa Archi, etc. Three songs were used in the film. The songs were rendered by Sharmin Sultana Sumi of Chirkutt, Evan from Ashes and Tuntun Baul.
