A Sylhet court on Wednesday sent the main accused of the gang rape of two siblings to jail fixing Sunday to hear his remand prayer.
Judge of the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court-4 Kudrat-e-Khoda passed the order when police produced Joynul before his court with a seven-day remand prayer.
On Tuesday night, police with the help of locals arrested Joynul from Deulgram village in Beanibazar while trying to flee.
With this, four people who were directly involved in the incident have so far been arrested in connection with May 25 gang rape of the two siblings.
