The Walton Beach Kabaddi (Men’s) Tournament will begin March 17 at the Laboni Point of Cox’s Bazar Sea Beach.
In this regard, a press conference was held at the conference room of the National Sports Council Tower on Thursday.
Senior Additional Director of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn, AGM of Walton Group Mehrab Hossain Asif, General Secretary of Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation Md Nazrul Islam, Chairman of the Tournament Committee Md Nizamuddin Chowdhury Parvez, Member Secretary of the Tournament Committee Amjad Hossain Majnu were present at the conference.
A total of six teams splitting into two groups will participate in the kabaddi competition. They are: Bangladesh Police, Bangladesh Air Force, Bangladesh Bangladesh Fire Service & Civil Defence, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), Bangladesh Navy and Bangladesh Jail team. The top two teams from each group will play in the semi-finals. The winners of the two semi-finals will face each other in the final.
