Youngmens Club reached the semifinals of the Walton Beach Football Tournament when they beat Malumghat Sports Association by 2-0 goals in the tie-breaker at the Laboni Point in Cox’s Bazar Sea Beach on Saturday.
The stipulated time ended in a 3-3 draw.
Mansoor, Mukut, Mahbub of Youngmens Club scored one goal each while Ibrahim of Malumghat Sports Association netted two goals.
Earlier, DC of Cox’s Bazar district Md Ruhul Amin inaugurated the football meet as the chief guest while Police Super of Cox’s Bazar district Shyamol Kumar Nath, Senior Principal Officer of Walton Mehrab Hossain Asif were with him as special guest.
General Secretary of Cox’s Bazar District Sports Association Professor Jasim Uddin and Secretary of the Tournament Committee Harunar Rashid were present at the time.
Today Coat Bazar Players Association will face Bashkata Players Association at 4.00 pm.
