The Walton Smart Television First Beach Bodybuilding Competition starts on June 8 at the Laboni Point of Cox’s Bazar Sea Beach.
Bangladesh Bodybuilding Federation will arrange the three-day long volleyball meet with the financial assistance of Walton.
The competition will be held in eight weight categories. They are: 55 kg, 60 kg, 65 kg, 70 kg, 75 kg, 80 kg, 85 kg and above 85 kg.
The first-place achiever of each group will be awarded a cash of Tk five thousand, a medal and a certificate while the second-place earner of each group will be given a cash of Tk three thousand, a medal and a certificate and the third-place winner of each group will get a cash of Tk two thousand, a medal and a certificate.
Marking the forthcoming meet, a press conference was held at the conference room of Bangabandhu National Stadium on Wednesday. Additional Director of Walton FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Don, President of Bangladesh Bodybuilding Federation Major General (Retd) Subid Ali Bhuiyan, MP, General Secretary of the Federation Md Nazrul Islam, Deputy Director of Walton Shamsul Islam Ponir were present at the conference.
