The 3rd Walton Beach Bodybuilding Competition was formally inaugurated on Monday at Laboni points sea beach in the tourist hub of Cox’s Bazar.
Walton Group operative director head of games and sports FM Iqbal Bin Anwar formally inaugurated the three-day meet as the chief guest.
On the second day’s of the competition, six participants from 60 kg and 75 kg weight categories have ensured their final round spot The competition will conclude tomorrow through a final round competition.
Near about hundred participants from 35 clubs and associations are taking part in the six weight categories of the meet, sponsored by Walton and organised by Bangladesh Bodybuilding Federation.
The six weight categories are 60, 65, 70, 75, 80 and 80 plus kgs.
The first place finisher of each category will get Taka 5,000 as cash prize and medal while the second and third place finishers will have Taka 3,000 and Taka 2000 and medals respectively.
