The Walton Smart TV 1st Beach Bodybuilding began on Sunday at the Laboni Point of Cox’s Bazar sea beach.
The three-day long event formally inaugurated by Cox’s Bazar deputy commissioner M Ruhul Amin.
A total of 100 bodybuilders from different clubs, gyms, district and associations from across the country are taking part in the meet, sponsored by Walton.
The competition will be held tomorrow (Monday) in eight weight categories. The categories are 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80 and 80+ Kgs.
Earlier, Bangladesh Bodybuilding Federation declared cash awards of five, three and two thousand taka for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.
