A delegation of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS), led by its Chairman Hafiz Ahmed Mazumdar, made a courtesy call on President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban on Sunday.
During the meeting, the delegation apprised the President of the overall activities of the BDRCS, President’s Press Secretary Joynal Abedin told UNB after the meeting.
The delegation also informed the President about the different initiatives taken by the BDRCS and Holy Family Red Crescent Hospital and sought his cooperation for the development of the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society.
President Abdul Hamid asked all concerned of the BDRC to be sincere so that all of them can serve the humanity at different times including the natural disaster as it is a humanitarian and prestigious organisation.
Abdul Hamid, also the BDRCS President, assured the delegation of extending his all-out cooperation for its development. Secretaries concerned to the President were present.
