BDPL Cricket Prime Doleshwar taste first defeat

Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club tasted first defeat in the Bangabandhu Dhaka Premier League (BDPL) Cricket as they lost to Prime Bank Cricket Club by three runs in their match at the BKSP Ground-3 in Savar on Thursday.
Prime Bank Cricket Club collected 10 points from six matches, while Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club gained nine points from as many matches.
Chasing Prime Bank Cricket Club’s 151 runs for the loss of seven wickets in the stipulated 20 overs, Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club were restricted to 148 for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs.
Mohammad Mithun of Prime Bank Cricket Club hit a marvelous 55. His 50-ball innings was studded with five fours and a sixer. He was adjudged the Man of the Match.
Anamul Haque Bijoy made 29 runs from 18 balls.
Alok Kapali hit a fine 26 using 14 balls including two sixes and one four.
Nahidul Islam scored 20 runs.
Kamrul Islam Rabbi of Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club captured two wickets at the cost of 22 runs.
Later, Kamrul Islam Rabbi remained unbeaten with 38 runs. His 12-ball innings saw four sixes and two fours.
Marshal Aiyub of Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club notched up 22, while Fazle Mahmud made 21 and Shoriful scored 19 runs.
Mustafizur Rahman of Prime Bank Cricket Club grabbed three wickets, while Rubel Hossain and Shoriful Islam bagged two wickets each.
