Bdjobs campus career festival starts at MIST

 Bdjobs Campus Career Festival-2015 started at Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) on Tuesday.
Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration Dr. Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury inaugurated the two-day festival as the chief guest, while Commandant MIST, Major General Md Siddiqur Rahman Sarker, was present at the inaugural function of the festival as the special guest.
Dr. Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury in his speech thanked CEO of bdjobs.com, AKM Fahim Mashroor for arranging this program and hoped that such effort will continue in the future also, an ISPR press release.
This festival, where 15 renowned companies are participating, has been organized to introduce the new graduates of MIST and BUP to the job market. The last career festival was arranged in February 2013, where job placement of a good number of MIST graduates could be confirmed.
MIST does not only impart undergraduate and post-graduate level studies, but also owns each and every graduate and puts effort for their suitable placement in job market, the release said.
Within only 15 years, MIST has established itself as one of the best engineering institutions in Bangladesh. Till now a total of 2,004 students — 700 military students, 1,299 civilian students and 05 foreigners-have graduated from MIST with B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Electrical Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering degree and MBA degree.
