BDcabs.com’s Ishraq to attend Silicon Valley summit

Ishraq Tariq, founder of BDcabs.com, Bangladesh’s first and largest vehicle booking platform, was nominated by the US government to participate in the Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2016 to be hosted by President Barack Obama in Silicon Valley from June 22-24, says a press release.
President Barack Obama initiated the Global Entrepreneurship Summit in 2010 after his historic Cairo speech in 2009 to elevate entrepreneurship to the forefront of US engagement agenda. This year in his final tenure as the US President, Barack Obama will personally host the 2016 Global Entrepreneurship Summit in the heart of American entrepreneurship: The Silicon Valley.
Over Six Hundred selected participants will join in the summit to represent their home countries, regions, and industries hailing from 170 countries and include successful entrepreneurs, investors, academics, leaders of entrepreneurship networks, non-profit organizations, foundations, and businesses who are invested in promoting entrepreneurship, to create new opportunities for investment, partnership, and collaboration, and highlight entrepreneurship.
Ishraq Tariq has been selected as the founder of a successful startup, BDcabs.com, an internationally acclaimed award winning mobile application and one of the few companies from Bangladesh to receive investment from international investors.
