Md Kamal Hossain Gazi and Md Refat Hasan have joined as the new Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of Bangladesh Development Bank Limited (BDBL) Thursday.
Gazi started his career in 1987 as a senior officer of the Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB). He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Dhaka University in 1986 and his Master’s degree in 1987. He was also the Head of ICB’s Central Accounts Division, Legal Affairs, Money Laundering Divisions and Branch Heads of Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram Branches.
Refat Hasan started his career as a programmer in the Investment Corporation of Bangladesh. He obtained Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Statistics Department from Rajshahi University and an MBA (Finance) Degree from Dhaka University. He was the General Manager of ICB’s ICT Division and Equity Entrepreneurs Fund.
He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
