Sabbir Hossain :
After earning a four-wicket victory over Zimbabwe in the first Twenty20 International match on November 13, highly spirited Bangladesh will meet their African counterpart in the second and last Twenty20 International match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur today. BTV and GTV will telecast the match live from 5.00 pm from the Stadium.
The players of Bangladesh team are morally very high as they whitewashed Zimbabwe by 3-0 in the three-match ODI series recently.
Before today’s encounter, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe faced each other twice in two Twenty20 International matches and Bangladesh won both the games.
Captain of Bangladesh Mashrafe Bin Mortaza said, “Twenty20 is of a different nature, as two overs can change everything. I hope everyone will play well ahead of the next game.”
Captain of Zimbabwe Elton Chigumbura said, ” After defeat in the ODI series, we were under pressure in the first Twenty20 International match. But, our opponents had no pressure. They played with full confidence and got success. But we failed. We have now just one match. We want to go home with a victory.”
