BD youth picked up by BSF

Members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) picked up a Bangladeshi young man from Islampur border area in Patgram upazila early Thursday.
The victim, Jabed Ali,35, son of Umor Ali, a resident of Islampur village in the upazila, is a cattle trader.
Quoting locals, BGB sources said members of 104 BSF battalion from Chengrabandh camp in Kuchbihar district of West Bengal caught Jabed from near sub pillar no. 1 of the main pillar no. 843 at the border point when he was moving in the area to receive cattle from a group at about 5:00am.
Confirming the incident, commanding officer of Lalmonirhat BGB Battalion-15 Lieutenant Colonel Safiul Alam said they sent a letter to BSF protesting the incident.
