One Bangladeshi youth was held by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) in Dantbhanga Chat karaibari border under Roumari upazila in Kurigram district at night on Friday. The youth was identified as Rashedul Islam 25 son of son of Abul Hossain of village Chat karaibari under the upazila.BGB sources said some Bangladeshi went to border near barbed wire of international pillar no 1056 to smuggling cattle. The BSF members of 6 Gutalu camp chased them. Although they escaped but Rashedul was held by BSF.
Local UP member Mizanur Rahman told the incident.Director of Jamalpur 35-BGB Battalion Lt. Col. Montashir Mamun confirmed the news. He was handed over to Indian police. We are trying to communicate with BSF to return the youth the director added.
