BD Women Cricket team leaves for Thailand today

Bangladesh National Women Cricket team will leave here for Thailand today (Thursday) to participate in the six-team ACC Women’s Asia Cup T20 Cricket-2016 to be held at Terdthai Cricket Ground in Bangkok from November 26 to December 4.
India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal and Thailand will compete in the meet.
Bangladesh will play their giant neighbour and five-time champions India in the opening match on November 26.
In the remaining matches, Bangladesh will play Thailand on November 28, Nepal on November 29 and Pakistan on November 30 and Sri Lanka on December 3.
The final match will be held on December 4.
Meanwhile, a photo session of the women’s team was held at the BCB National Cricket Academy in Mirpur on Wednesday afternoon.
Earlier, Bangladesh Cricket Board announced the 15-member national squad ahead of the upcoming Women’s Asia Cup 2016.
