The Bangladesh national U-23 football team suffered a 0-3 goals defeat to Qatar Olympic side in a practice match held on Thursday late evening at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium in Doha, Qatar, source BFF online.
The Qatar side scored an early goal in the 14th minute and managed to put pressure on the visitors. The hosts doubled the lead in the 39th minute.
However, the boys in red and green were far from getting demoralized with a 2-0 deficit at the break.
They came back stronger in the second half and tested the Qatar side’s steel. The hosts completed their tally scoring the third goal in the 63rd minute. Bangladesh also managed to create some attacking chances during the second half but failed to convert any of those into goal.
The crowd was amazing which boosted the confidence before their upcoming AFC U-23 Championship qualifiers. The team will now set off for Palestine to take part in the tournament.
