Bangladesh Under-23 football team will start their 17th Asian Games campaign taking on SAFF Champions Afghanistan in their group B opening match scheduled to be held today (Monday) at the Munhak Stadium in Incheon, South Korea. The match kicks off at 5 pm (local time).
In the day’s other group B match, strong Uzbekistan will face Hong Kong at the same venue. Bangladesh will play their second group match against Uzbekistan on September 18 at the Ansan Wa- Stadium and the third and last group match against Hong Kong on September 22 at the Hwaseong Sports Complex.
Earlier, the boys in red and green suffered a 2-4 goals defeat to Vietnam in the warm-up match and the defeat helped the Bangladesh side to find the lacks of the team before the important match.
