The Bangladesh national U-15 football team made a losing start in the four-nation Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) U-15 Men’s Youth Tournament when they suffered a 0-4 goal defeat to Cyprus in their opening match of the tournament on Monday at Chang Arena, Buriram in Thailand.
In the day’s match, Bangladesh conceded the first goal in the 17th minute while the losing side conceded the remaining two goals in the 67th, 70th and 91st minutes of the match.
Under the UEFA assist mini tournament project, Bangladesh is taking part in the competition in Project Buriram in Thailand.
The Thailand FA is organizing the tournament in collaboration with the UEFA which will feature the Thai team, one team from UEFA which is Cyprus and two teams from the AFC which are The Maldives and Bangladesh.
The boys in red and green will play their second match against host Thailand on Wednesday (December 12) before playing their last match against the Maldives on December 14.
