BD U-14 chess team beaten in opening tie in Asian Chess

Bangladesh Under-14 chess team failed to make a good start as they lost to top seeded China A by 0-4 points in the inaugural match of Asian Nations Cup Under-14 team Chess Championship that began on Sunday in Jaixian, China.
In the day’s first round matches, Nayem Haque (Rating-1983) lost to LinYi (Rating-2427), Amit Bikram Roy (Rating-1677) lost to FM Yu Kaifeng (Rating-2241), Sadnan Hossain Dihan ((Rating-1431) lost to Peng Hongchi (Rating-2241) and Daniel Murad (Rating-1536) lost to Huang Ranije (Rating-2084).
The event is being held in nine round Swiss-League system with the participation of 14 teams from 10 Asian countries.
