Bangladesh will take part in the 40th International Kolkata Book Fair-2016 in India next month, a cultural affairs ministry statement said here.
It said the decision for taking part in the January 27 to February 7, 2015 book fair was taken at a meeting held on Wednesday with Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor in the chair.
“The allocated space for Bangladesh pavilion in the fair was very little last year but more Bangladeshi stalls will be installed in the fair this year,” the statement quoted Noor as saying.
