Bangladesh will set up a urea fertilizer factory in Iran under a joint venture investment with Iran.
Bangladesh reciprocated to the proposal made by Iranian Ambassador to Bangladesh Dr Abbas Vaezi Dehnavi when he paid a courtesy call on Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu at his ministry office here on Thursday.
During the meeting, they discussed various issues, including trade and investment, between the two countries.
Amu said the bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Iran are historically good. He stressed on accelerating the economic and commercial relations between the two countries through increasing industrialization and investment.
