Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh has hoped that a developed Bangladesh will be built by 2041 under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
“Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working to build Sonar Bangla dreamt by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Once, none could imagine having a satellite of our own. She (Sheikh Hasina) has done it. She is constructing Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant. She has many such achievements,” he said.
The DSCC mayor said this while addressing a discussion organized by Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) marking the 76th birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at SCBA auditorium on Wednesday evening. Earlier a cake was cut to observe the day, reports BSS.
Fisheries and Livestock Minister SM Rezaul Karim, Bangabandhu Awami Ainjibi Parishad convener Senior Advocate Yusuf Hossain Humayun, SCBA President Advocate Momtaj Uddin Fakir, Secretary Abdun Nur Dulal and Additional Attorney General SM Munir attended the function, among others.
