Spirited Bangladesh will take on Sri Lanka in the third match of the Tri-Nation ODI series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur today. The day/night affair begins at 12.00 Noon. GTV will telecast the match live from the arena.
Captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza said, ” I do not underestimate Sri Lanka. Opener Kusal Perera had century against us. Upul Tharanga has ability to play big innings. Dinesh Chandimal is a good batsman. Above all they have
ace all-rounders like Angelo Mathews and Thisara Perera.”
Mashrafe said, ” We are confident. We want to give cent percent effort against them. Our target is to give our best performance against them to win the match.”
He said, ” We are thinking that we shall play better tomorrow than that of previous match. Everybody wants to show that kind of performance, which we showed against Zimbabwe. We want to try our level best to win the match.”
Captain of Sri Lanka team Angelo Mathews said, ” We played just one match. Final is now far away. We want to perform better brand of cricket in the rest of three matches. We want to win those matches and then we shall think about final.”
He said, ” Bangladesh team are challenging for us. They performed well in their home soil for couple of years.”
