Bangladesh will take on Sri Lanka in the final of the Tri-Nation cricket series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur today. The match begins at 12.00 mid-day. GTV and BTV will telecast the match live from the Stadium.
Bangladesh stormed into the final securing 15 points from four matches, while Sri Lanka reached the final collecting nine points from as many outings.
Captain of Bangladesh team Mashrafe Bin Mortaza said, ” We are desperate that to win the trophy. This is our mission. If we win the match, it will be for the first time that we win a prestigious tournament. There is a pressure on us to win the series.”
He said, ” We shall try to show positive approach. We shall try to play our best with the mindset, which we had in the first match of the tournament. We shall play according to our positive game plan.”
Captain of Sri Lanka team Dinesh Chandimal said, ” We shall try to play competitive cricket against Bangladesh. If we can do that, we can earn a good result.”
He said, ” We shall try to play according to our game plan. We shall try to implement our best performance. If we can do that, we shall be positive in the game.”
