Bangladesh T20I Cricket team left the city on Wednesday for India to play three Twenty20 International matches against their counterpart. It may be mentioned that ace all-rounder and Captain of Bangladesh T20I team and Test team Shakib Al Hasan will miss the three-match T20I series and two-match Test series against the hosts as he has been banned for two years by ICC for violating Anti-Corruption Code (ACC) of ICC.
Bangladesh will face India in the first T20I in Delhi on November 3. Bangladesh will take on India in the second T20I at Rajkot on November 7. The Tigers will meet India in the third T20I at Nagpur on November 10.
Then, Bangladesh will play their first Test against India at Indore from November 14. The Tigers will face India in the second Test in Kolkata from November 22.
The cricketers, who have been picked up for the Test matches against India, will join the squad later. Mahmudullah Riyad will lead the T20I squad, while Mominul Haque will lead the Test squad in absence of Shakib.
The T20I squad: Soumya Sarkar, Mohammad Naim, Mahmudullah Riyad (Captain), Mushfiqur Rahim, Mustafizur Rahman, Afif Hossain, Mosaddek Hossain, Animul Islam, Liton Das, Arafat Sunny, Al-Amin Hossain, Shaiful Islam, Abu Haider Rony, Mohammad Mithun and Taijul Islam.
