In the 65th edition conference “Harvard National Model United Nations – 2019” held in Harvard University USA, a Bangladeshi student namely Mahamudul Hassan Tonmoy (Independent University, Bangladesh) represented project “Cure” in Social Venture Challenge (SVC) competition and recognized as world’s Top-8 best project. The challenge was jointly organized by Harvard University and Resolution Project. With over 3000 delegates hailing from 80 countries and a staff of over 230 Harvard undergraduates, This conference remains the oldest, largest, and most prestigious collegiate Model United Nations conference globally. Social Venture Challenge (SVC) is a business plan-style competition designed to inspire university students to propose solutions to pressing social issues around the world. Resolution project jointly host the SVCs in partnership with the universities and youth conferences that attract talented and idealistic young leaders. They invited those young leaders to submit their projects. Among these, They selected top 30 projects to present them in of a panel of expert judges. the judges panel included Harvard University, Microsoft, Bank of America and other top organization’s personality and Finally they recognized Top-8 best projects. Bangladesh’s project “Cure” was one of them. It is to be noted that, created by three young students (Mahamudul Hassan Tonmoy, Ridwanul Arefin Arnob, Sadman Sakib) this project “Cure” previously won the “Best Idea Innovation Award” in the International Young Innovators Summit 2018 which was held in Tokyo, Japan.
