A Bangladeshi student of class VI at the Dhanmondi’s European Standard School Sharif Adibur secured the 3rd runners-up position in the International Abacus and Mental Higher Arithmetic Competition-2016.
Some 50,000 students from 32 countries including Bangladesh, India, USA, UK, China and Russia participated in the competition held in the Indonesian city of Yogyakarta on Sunday, said a press release.
Adibur’s father Sharif Lutfur Rahman is a former judge.
