BD-Seychelles match ends in draw

Bangladesh made a 1-1 draw with Seychelles in their first match of the Four-Nation Football Tournament at Racecourse Ground in Colombo, the capital city of Sri Lanka on Wednesday.
Bangladesh led the first half 1-0.
Mohammad Ibrahim of Bangladesh put his team ahead in the 17th minute of the play. Ibrahim got the ball on his way from a long pass of his teammate Tutul Hossain Badsha and then, Ibrahim advanced with the ball after dodging past a defender of Seychelles and then, he scored by an angular shot.
After the intermission, Warren Arin of Seychelles gave a pass to his teammate Rashid Labross and Rashid’s shot found the net in the 87th minute of the game.
Earlier, Sumon Reza of Bangladesh headed the ball using a cross of his teammate Saad Uddin in the 20th minute of the clash.
In the 30th minute Jamal Bhuiyan of Bangladesh entered the Seychelles D-box but his shot was gripped by Seychelles custodian.
After six minutes, Bangladesh defender Topu Barman’s shot went wide.
Bangladesh got another chance in the 41st minute. Ibrahim got the ball from his teammate Rakib Hossain but Ibrahim’s shot passed away the goalbar.
In the 62nd minute, Rundolf of Seychelles got the ball from his teammate at the Bangladesh’s danger zone but he struck the ball outside the goal bar.
Bangladesh got an opportunity in the injury time of the second half but Mahmbubur Rahman Sufil’s header went over the crosspiece. Thus, Bangladesh left the field after sharing points with their weaker opponents.
