Bangladesh and SESLS on Monday took a decision to sign an agreement for sending the workers abroad in a structured way.
The decision was taken at a meeting between the delegation of Bangladesh and delegation of SESLS at the Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Ministry conference room in the city, said a press release.
State Minister for Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Imran Ahmed was present at the meeting.
Imran Ahmed said the government is taking necessary steps for ensuring safe and systematic labour immigration.
Among others, Additional Secretary of the Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Ministry Ahmed Muniruch Salehin, Director General of the Wage Earners’ Welfare Board Gazi M Julhas and Principle Secretary of the SESLS Employment Department Jules Baker were present.
