BD-SA 2nd Test ends in a draw

The second Test match between Bangladesh and South Africa ended in a draw as there was no play on Monday, the fifth day, due to unplayable condition of the ground at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
After inspecting the ground, the umpires declared the ground unplayable.
There was no play on the second day, the third day and the fourth day also due to rain.
Bangladesh scored 246 for the loss of eight wickets in the first innings at the stumps on the first day.
By virtue of yesterday’s draw, the two-Test series ended in a draw.
As the rain disrupted, Chittagong Test also declared draw on July 25.
The weather also played a role in the drawn first Test held in Chittagong. Only 221 overs were bowled, as rain curtailed play on the second and third days before washing out the last two days’ play.
However, the series ending in a draw, Bangladesh earned six rating points while South Africa lost five rating points.
