Railways Minister Md. Nurul Islam Sujon said that country has achieved comprehensive successes in all sector and Bangladesh is a now model of development.
We have achieved our independence under the leadership of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Now under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina we have achieved comprehensive success in all sector, the Minister said.
The minister said this on Friday while speaking at a public meeting at Dandapal Kaliganj school ground under Debiganj upazila at the inauguration function of the 26 kilometers construction work at Debiganj Jarbari to Fulbari Paspir.
Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) would implement the construction work at a cost of Taka 30 corer.
Sujon urged the contractors to ensure quality works in road construction. Irregularities in the work would not be acceptable. With the full swing of development works, soon our villages will be developed as like town as they too (village) are getting opportunities like town.
The present government under the dynamic leader of Sheikh Hasina has done innumerable constructions of road and bridge in villages as well in town.
All roads in Debiganj upazila will be constructed. Ninety percent electricity has reached the villages; rest ten percent electricity will reach the villages by March 31. We want to have peaceful Bangladesh.
