A Bangladeshi national was tortured to death and two others injured allegedly by Border Security Force (BSF) of India in Daldanga border area of Bhurungamari upazila early Monday.
The injured was identified as Abdul Goni, 40, a cattle trader and resident of Dakhshin Daldanga village of Shilkhuri union of the upazila.
According to the victim’s family members, BSF picked three cattle traders including Goni while they were bringing cattle through the border early in the morning.
Later, they tortured the cattle traders, which left Goni dead and two others injured.
Latiful Islam, officer-in-charge of Bhurungamari Police Station, said they had heard the news.
