BD man gets life term in India for ‘murder’

A Bangladeshi man, Badshah, was sentenced to life term in jail for reportedly killing an east Delhi resident during a robbery bid.
According to report carried by The Times of India (TOI) on Saturday, Badshah murdered 32-year-old Animesh Datta with the help of his 6-7 accomplices when the victim tried to stop them from robbing of his home.
The other accused who had entered Datta’s home with knives and choppers have not been arrested yet.
The court also fined Badshah Rs 40,000 directing that the sum be paid to Datta’s parents, Sumer and Prabha, who were tied down by the dacoits and were eyewitnesses to the incident.
