Bangladesh National Football team made their SAFF Suzuki Cup Championship start with a happy note after beating Bhutan National Football team by two goals to nil in their opening Group-A match at the flood-lit Bangabandhu National Stadium on Tuesday.
Bangladesh totally dominated over their opponents and earned the easy victory. Bangladesh led the first half 1-0.
Tapu Barman of Bangladesh put his team ahead by a spot-kick in the third minute of the play.
After the lemon-break, Mahbubur Rahman Sufil doubled the margin by an angular shot in the 47th minute of the match.
Bangladesh will take on Pakistan in their second Group-A match tomorrow. The match begins at 7.00 pm BST (Bangladesh Standard Time).
