BD, Iran for strengthening bilateral ties

Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali on Sunday hoped that the bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Iran would further be strengthened during the tenure of new Iranian Ambassador in Dhaka.
He made the remark when newly appointed Iranian Ambassador Abbas Vaezi Dehnavi to Bangladesh met him at his ministry, said a Foreign Ministry media release.
During the meeting, diplomatic and economic cooperation between Bangladesh and Iran were discussed.
The Iranian envoy also expressed the hope that the existing bilateral relations between the two countries would be expanded and consolidated in both depth and dimension in the coming days. The Foreign Minister offered all possible cooperation from the Foreign Ministry and wished him good health, pleasant stay in Bangladesh.
Mahmood Ali also wished the brotherly people of Iran continued peace, progress and prosperity.
