The Duke of Edinburgh Award Foundation Bangladesh got the full license ship of the mother association as the basis of performing best practices in the region. The foundation got the license ship at the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Forum 2015 took place recently.
HRH Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex handed over the full License to the National Director, Prof. Dr. K. M. Shariful Huda for The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Foundation Bangladesh.
This year, the Award in Canada is hosting the Forum, and it was arranged in the city of Toronto. HRH Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex graced the event as the Chief Guest. The Forum is a triennial event, which brings together all the leaders within The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Association and The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation from around the world.
The Forum enables the Foundations to discuss the development of the Award with members of the Association, and to consult with them on new policies and plans for the future. It is an opportunity for those delivering the Award on a national basis to share learning and to be part of the development of global Award operations and strategy.
