Bangladesh has been awarded the prestigious World Sum¬mit on Information Society 2014 Prize’ at the WSISMO high-level event of IMemational Telecommunication Union (ITU).
State Minister for Information and Communication Tech¬nology Bona. Ahmed Polak received die prize at the ITU¬headqumters in Geneva in a grand ceremony on Tuesday afternoon. Ministers and heads of UN mganisations and do¬ilsociely memherswere also present, said a Foreign Ministry media release on Tuesday.
