Tarik Morshed joined Bangladesh Finance And Investment Company Limited (BD Finance) as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. Prior, Morshed served at Social Islami Bank Limited (SIBL) as Additional Managing Director, said a press release.
Morshed has 23 years of versatile banking experience in service and credit related area. Especially he has in-depth expertise on branch banking operation with specific concentration on corporate financing, syndication, project finance as a part of business solution.
He has completed his Honors and Masters degree in Management from Rajshahi University. He started his carrier in BRAC on 1987 and lastly was the Regional In-charge of BRAC, RDP. He joined SIBL on 1995 as Principal Officer.
Morshed was rewarded by the Management of the Bank in several occasions for his outstanding performance. He was awarded as the best Manager of the ‘Industry-based 10 (ten) best Bank Manager Award, 2007’. During his professional career, Morshed has received banking related multifarious professional training at home and abroad.
