Bangladesh fought back against England making 125 for the loss of two wickets off 22.4 overs in reply to England’s massive total of 386 for the loss of six wickets in the allotted 50 overs in their ICC World Cup Cricket match at Cardiff in Wales on Saturday.
Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hdasan was on 72, while Mushfiqur Rahim was on 24, till filing this report.
Earlier, Jason Roy, Jos Buttler, Jonny Bairstow and Eoin Mogan guided their team to pile up a mammoth total
Jason Roy notched up a sparkle 153. His 121-ball innings was ornamented with five sixes and four fours.
Jos Buttler hit a polished 64. His 44-ball knock was laced with four sixes and two fours.
Jonny Bairstow made 51 from 50 balls featuring six fours. Eoin Morgan scored 35 off 33 balls including two sixes and one four.
Mohammad Saifuddin and Mehidy Hasan Miraz bagged a pair of wickets each conceding 78 and 67 runs respectively.
Mustafizur Rahman and Mashrafe Bin Mortaza took one wicket apiece.
