Bangladesh U-20 Football team will take on strong Qatar U-20 Football team in their third group-B match of the AFC U-20 Asian Cup Qualifiers to be held today at Sheikh Ali bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Stadium in Bahrain.
The match kicks off at 9.00pm (BST).
Prior to the tough match, Bangladesh team’s head coach Rashed Ahmed Pappu was found hopeful with his boys because he is elated by the performance the his boys in the last two group matches against Bahrain and Bhutan.
He said a good result is expected against Qatar match if the boys are able to carry out the same performance which they showed in their last two group matches though he categorically admitted that Qatar is a tough opponent.
Captain Tanvir Hossain said: “It’s like a final match for us and also a big match that we are going to face against Qatar….. there will be a chance to go the next round if we able to do something good against Qatar … we are now in good position”.
