Ananda Shipyard and Slipways Ltd on Thursday exported a large ever Bangladesh made ocean going Ship to Germany.
Ananda group officials handed over the ship named MV ANSHU in a function at the shipyard in Meghnaghat, Narayangonj to its buyer the German company ‘HS Schiffahrts GmbH & Co. KG MS’.
Ananda group Chairman Dr. Abdullahil Bari, Managing Director Afroza Bari, DMD Abdullah Nahid Nigar and Executive Director Tariqul Isalm were present.
MV ANSHU’s Captain Piyot Buzenschi received the documents and the key of the ship.
The multipurpose Ship is capable to carry 5500 DWTA goods. Its length is 342 feet, width 50 feet and depth 24.27 feet. Its engine capacity is 3750 horsepower and speed is 12 nautical mile per hour.
