Bangladesh Ambassador to the Netherlands Sheikh Mohammed Belal has urged the Bangladeshi expatriates living in the Netherlands and elsewhere in the world to establish ‘Bangabandhu Chair’ both at home and abroad for conducting advanced research on the life and ideology of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The Ambassador laid emphasis on anthropological studies on Bangabandhu’s life and works through extensive research as on State heroes of other countries in the world.
Sheikh Belal was addressing a discussion at The Hague marking the National Mourning Day on Saturday, according to a message received here on Sunday. The Embassy observed the day with due solemnity marking the 40th anniversary of death of the Father of the Nation. Bangladeshi expatriates were also present.
