Bangladesh women’s cricket team will take on Ireland in the first T20 of the three-match series scheduled to be held today (Thursday) at Dublin.
The match kicks off at 7 pm (BST).
The second and final matches between the two sides will be held on June 29 and July 1 respectively at the same venue.
Earlier, on Sunday, Salma Khatun and her troops flew off to Ireland to take part series against ahead of their ICC Women’s World T20 qualifier campaign in the Netherlands.
The Tigresses are surely boosted with confidence after their triumph in the Asia Cup T20 earlier this month and will hope to use that edge to secure a place in the ICC Women’s World T20 tournament in West Indies in November.
After the series against Ireland the eve cricket team will depart for the Netherlands on July 3.
Prior to their departure for Ireland, skipper Salma expressed her high hope about qualifying for the game’s flagship event while adding that becoming the champions of Asia bolstered the team’s confidence.
