Bangladesh Ambassador to Vietnam Samina Naz presented her credentials to President of Vietnam Tran Dai Quang at the Presidential Palace in Hanoi on Tuesday and vowed to work closely to deepen the relations.
The President welcomed the new Bangladesh envoy and assured of the cooperation of his office as well as the government of Vietnam in discharging her tour of duties.
He expressed his satisfaction at the existing bilateral relations and hoped that in her tenure, the friendly relationship between the two countries would be more strengthened.
The Ambassador reiterated that she would work closely to deepen the bonds of relations the two countries have in the fields of agriculture, trade and commerce, pharmaceutical, education, culture, etc. as well as she would further undertake efforts to tap the potentials those have not explored yet to take the relationship to a higher level. Samina Naz said Bangladesh is keen to share with Vietnam Bangladesh’s experience and achievements in the areas of poverty reduction, disaster management and achieving the MDGs and now working for SDGs.
