The players of Bangladesh Cricket team, officials and supporting staff will enter the hotel today. They will take a three-day quarantine at the InterContinental Dhaka. The players have already started their home quarantine. They will undergo Covid-19 test before reach the hotel. After getting their results for coronavirus test, they will enter the hotel.
Meanwhile, New Zealand Cricket team will arrive in Dhaka today to play the five-match Twenty20 International matches against Bangladesh Cricket team. The Kiwis will directly go to the InterContinental after reaching the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
Chief Physician of the Bangladesh Cricket Board Debashish Chowdhury said, ” Three observers of New Zealand Cricket arrived in the city. Besides, two players of New Zealand Cricket team already entered in Dhaka. They will visit the hotel today. The management of InterContinental Dhaka will handover the hotel to the officials of the BCB.” Bangladesh will play five T20I matches against New Zealand at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur. All the matches will start at 4.00pm (Bangladesh Standard Time).
Bangladesh will take on New Zealand in the first T20I on September 1, will face the Kiwis in the second T20I on September 3, will play against the Black Caps in the third T20I on September 5, will meet New Zealand in the fourth T20I on September 8 and will face the Kiwis in the fifth T20I on September 10.
