Bangladeshi competitor Nafisa Sadaf Anchol received the Best of Nation Award, the first time in the country’s history, at the World Skills Competition (WSC) concluded at Kazan, Tatarstan in Russia Tuesday evening.
The two competitors from Bangladesh – TanjimTabassum Islam in Patisserie & Confectionery and NafisaSadafAnchol in Fashion Technology have performed very well and earned appreciation from the organisers and assessors.
They successfully completed all the stages and made outstanding and better performances compared to the competitors from many countries, said Md. Faruque Hossain, Executive Chairman of the National Skills Development Authority (NSDA) under Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
