A five-member Bangladesh Chess team left here for the Iranian city of Hamadan on Wednesday to participate in the Asian Nations Cup Chess scheduled for July 27 to August 4 there.
The Bangladesh team comprises of national champion Grand Master Enamul Hossain Razib, International Master Mohammad Minhazuddin, Fide Master Khondakar Aminul Islam, Fide Master Mohammad Fahad Rahman and Fide Master Sheikh Nasir Ahmed.
The Bangladesh team will compete in all three categories — Standard, Rapid and Blitz Chess — of the competition.
