Members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) picked up a Bangladeshi cattle trader from Dharmagarh bordering area in Haripur upazila early Friday.
The victim was identified as Kabirul Islam, 18, son of Motaleb Hossain of Deldangi village in the upazila.
Operational Officer of Thakurgaon BGB-30 Major Kazi Alamgir Hossain said the BSF troops of Kokradah
camp caught Kabirul when he went near main border pillar no 374 for bringing cattle at about 5 am.
A letter has been sent to the BSF asking for holding a flag meeting to return the Bangladeshi national, he said.
